It is no secret that Josh and I love the outdoors! Well, Maeve has been enjoying them as well. We got a great blanket from Bed, Bath, & Beyond We set that up anywhere and hang out. Maeve is now sitting on her own, so she can really enjoy the breeze and the views. 
One night, we even stayed out to go star gazing!! Maeve spent most of the time studying Josh's face though.
Then, this past weekend, we decided to see how she did with camping out in a tent. She had gotten a PeaPod from Kathy and Bern McElroy for a baby shower present. It is like her own little tent that we can fit into the rain cover of our tent.

Then she watched us set up a campfire for cooking dinner on. She was fascinated!
She even enjoyed the hammock for a bit while we ate!
It was a pretty successful night for us. I was worried she wouldn't sleep. While it was not as restful as sleeping indoors, it is an activity we miss a lot. We camped all over the US and even on the majority of our honeymoon. We are so happy to have Maeve along for the ride now!
