Seven Months

It has been a whirlwind of a month and before I knew it, Maeve went from being 6 months old, to seven months old!!
So big!

She is growing like crazy and doing something new every day it seems.  So here's a rundown of all things that Maeve is doing nowadays:
 1. Eating well, so far trying avocados, sweet potatoes, beets, pears, peaches, carrots, and bananas.  Favorite so far is sweet potatoes, least favorite is peaches.  She eats solid food twice a day and is still nursing about 4 times a day. She also gets teething biscuits in between.

2. Sleeping through the night.  A little before our vacation and during our vacation, Maeve was horrible at sleeping.  I mean every 2 hours.  After no sleep for 2 weeks, I had a mini mental breakdown and called the pediatrician.  After ensuring her ears and everything were okay her offered two things to help me: let her cry it out and she should be sleeping through the night in 3 nights, or continue to feed her, but do it quickly so I can get the most sleep possible.  Josh and I choose to let her cry it out.  We put her down in her crib, set up camp on the sofa and put in a DVD (so we couldn't hear her cry as easily).  Firs night was rough, but by the second night, she slept though the night, as has ever since.  Thank you Dr Menan!

3. Maeve has figured out how to use her hands purposefully.  She now gives high-fives, claps, and waves.  And she is all smiles for all of those.
High fives!

4. She likes to stand more than sit.  And when you hold her hands, she tries walking.  It is crazy

 5.  She has no interest in being on her belly or crawling.  She doesn't even like laying that much.  When she is on the changing table of laying flat, she is constantly trying to sit up to see everything.  She is very nosey of what's going on around her.

6. No teeth yet!  But still a beautiful smile!
