So, we have been busy... We have been trying to meet up with all of our friends and family, getting settled into more of a schedule, enjoy the spring by planting seedlings and getting the farm ready for the growing season, and still enjoy the precious moments that seem to be fleeting by as we watch Maeve already growing up so quick!! She has now transitioned from newborn to 0-3 month clothing for the most part. She is USUALLY only waking 2-3 times at night. And she is doing better with tummy time and learning the difference between night and day.

After a walk in the beautiful spring weather! |

Maeve and I surprised Morgan with a visit for her first lacrosse game!! She scored a goal and her team won. We are so proud of her!! |
 |
Betty Keim, the previous owner of our property, came to visit her adopted great granddaughter. We love Betty and love that our daughter will know her. She is a special member of our family!! |
Maeve's first party!! Steph, my best friend from high school, had a surprise 30th birthday party!! We stayed out until 10:30pm!!
 |
Party Dress for Steph's 30th!! The top was made by Nan!!
Unfortunately, she had a party foul in the outfit ad we had to get changed into a sleeper. |
 |
Steph, still 29, with Maeve in her pink sleeper |
Looking forward to Easter, we took the opportunity to take embarrassing pictures of Maeve.

Loves looking at Pop-pop |
 |
Emma had her first babysitting experience as Pop-pop
showed me the new shed outside. She did a great job with Maeve. |
Demonstration of a growing Maeve...
 |
Maeve with her "milk drunk" face on.
She has been doing great at eating, which has resulted in her growing well.
She is also modeling the hat Ms. Aleah made for her. We both love it!! |
 |
Starting to fill out my newborn clothes!! |
 |
Now the newborn outfits are getting a bit snug... |
I had my first days away from Maeve...Nan watched her and they did great. I survived the day, but it is much harder than I thought to leave her!!

Aunt Heather, Nelly, and Nan came over to hang out and check out the birth announcements. Girl's night! |
On April 4th, we went up to Reading to eat lunch with Pop-Pop Lippincott, Nan, and Louise. I then had an appt for a shoulder injury. It seems during labor, I injured a nerve that runs from my spine to my rib cage (long thoracic nerve) that stabilizes my shoulder blade. I now have a winged shoulder blade and have to undergo therapy for a month.

Maeve with Pop-Pop Lippincott!! |

Maeve with the monkey Louise got for her. She is getting better control of those hands! |

Enjoying an afternoon with Nan at the Reading Arboretum, after she came with us to the orthopedic surgeon. |
 |
Mesmerized by Nan |
We had a lot of playdates with our infant friends this month too! Lillian came over with Jess for a long walk.
 |
Lillian was really excited after our walk to play with Maeve.
Maeve was trying to find her... |
 |
It looks like a serious boxing match...
but this is the beginning of the all girls running club!! |
Finn was more enthusiastic about Maeve's balloon than her, until he noticed that they had the same binky. Then, he decided he wanted Maeve's and reached over and, as Meg put it, "face palmed" her. No harm no foul, just very cute.
 |
First Date~!! Finn and Meg came over to visit. |

Maeve and I went to visit Sloane and the McElroy clan at her house.
 |
Sloane and Maeve enjoying some tummy time.
Clearly Maeve has some work to do... |
 |
Maeve's foot on the left, Sloane's foot on the right.
I am not sure if Maeve has really big feet or Sloane really small,
but there is a 3 month difference between them, which is not noticeable in this picture. |

Punch in the face |
 |
Bunny Ears!! |
My 30th birthday was April 6th. Maeve did not let me sleep the night before. I think she wanted to be the first to wish me a happy birthday. So, I got her dressed extra special that day.
 |
This is what happens when Maeve doesn't sleep well through the night, her mother dresses her like this. |
 |
And it was my birthday, so she had to wear an outfit that pronounced her love of me! |
 |
I can't stay too mad at her. I see so much hope and joy in these tiny eyes... |
