Spring is in the Air.

So, we have been busy... We have been trying to meet up with all of our friends and family, getting settled into more of a schedule, enjoy the spring by planting seedlings and getting the farm ready for the growing season, and still enjoy the precious moments that seem to be fleeting by as we watch Maeve already growing up so quick!!  She has now transitioned from newborn to 0-3 month clothing for the most part.  She is USUALLY only waking 2-3 times at night.  And she is doing better with tummy time and learning the difference between night and day.

Maeve and I surprised Morgan with a visit for her first lacrosse game!! She scored a goal and her team won.  We are so proud of her!!

Betty Keim, the previous owner of our property, came to visit her adopted great granddaughter.  We love Betty and love that our daughter will know her.  She is a special member of our family!!

 Maeve's first party!!  Steph, my best friend from high school, had a surprise 30th birthday party!!  We stayed out until 10:30pm!!

 I had my first days away from Maeve...Nan watched her and they did great.  I survived the day, but it is much harder than I thought to leave her!!

Aunt Heather, Nelly, and Nan came over to hang out and check out the birth announcements.  Girl's night!

 On April 4th, we went up to Reading to eat lunch with Pop-Pop Lippincott, Nan, and Louise.  I then had an appt for a shoulder injury.  It seems during labor, I injured a nerve that runs from my spine to my rib cage (long thoracic nerve) that stabilizes my shoulder blade.  I now have a winged shoulder blade and have to undergo therapy for a month.

 Finn was more enthusiastic about Maeve's balloon than her, until he noticed that they had the same binky.  Then, he decided he wanted Maeve's and reached over and, as Meg put it, "face palmed" her.  No harm no foul, just very cute.

Bunny Ears!!

My 30th birthday was April 6th.  Maeve did not let me sleep the night before.  I think she wanted to be the first to wish me a happy birthday.  So, I got her dressed extra special that day.  

This is what happens when Maeve doesn't sleep well through the night, her mother dresses her like this.

And it was my birthday, so she had to wear an outfit that pronounced her love of me!

I can't stay too mad at her.  I see so much hope and joy in these tiny eyes...
